Privacy Policy

Wallchart stores your habits on your iPhone. It does not send them to me, and there is no server of mine for them to go to.

What is collected

Nothing. There are no accounts, no sign-in, no analytics, no advertising, no crash reporting, and no third-party SDKs of any kind in the app. I receive no data about you or your use of Wallchart, and I could not identify a user if I wanted to.

What is stored, and where

Your habits and every day you have logged are written to a container on your device that is shared between the app and its Home Screen widget. That data stays on the device. It is included in your device backups because your whole device is, and it is removed when you delete the app. One exception: the server address and token, if you set them, live in the iOS Keychain, which survives deleting the app. Reinstalling and finding sync already configured is that, not the app phoning home.

Sync to your own server

Wallchart has an optional setting under Settings → Sync to your own server. It is off, and empty, until you fill it in. If you enter a server address and an access token, the app sends your habits and their logged days to that server as you log them — a machine you run, at an address you chose. It goes nowhere else. I never see it, and no part of the app talks to any other host.

To stop it, tap Turn off sync in Settings; the address and token are erased and the app sends nothing further. (Clearing the two fields by hand isn't enough — the app won't save an empty pair.) What your own server does with data it already received is between you and your server.

This website

Everything above is about the app. This page itself is served from mili.dev, which uses Cloudflare Web Analytics — it counts page views without cookies and without identifying visitors. The app does not talk to it, and reading this page tells me nothing about your habits.

Children

Wallchart collects nothing from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the date below changes with it. If a future version of the app collects anything at all, that will be stated here plainly and in the App Store privacy details before the version ships.
